Sunday Safe Bet

Why it’s a Sunday Safe Bet

It held a wide audience for several seasons and it's still drawing plenty of interest, though it had rough reviews. A safe bet when you want something reliable.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who wants a laugh, families and animation lovers. Audiences love it more than critics do: a crowd-pleaser first.
The mood: Light and funny, feel-good.
The pace: 6 seasons, but most episodes stand on their own, so you can dip in anywhere (about 11 minutes each).
What might put you off: Critics were cooler on it than audiences.

Three adolescent boys, Ed, Edd "Double D", and Eddy, collectively known as "the Eds", constantly invent schemes to make money from their peers to purchase their favorite confectionery, jawbreakers. Their plans usually fail though, leaving them in various predicaments.
