Why it’s a Monday Morning Maybe

With almost no lasting buzz and a small audience, this one could be a tough watch. Keep your phone handy.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who loves a strong character drama. If you loved Six Feet Under, start here.
The mood: Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace: One season: easy to finish in a weekend or two, episodes of about 50 minutes, about 7 hours in all.
What might put you off: It's in French, so expect subtitles (or a dub).

The family Valadine has produced porno movies since years. But the golden age of the erotic film is over. The market, the business and the movies are getting harder. Nevertheless Alex Valadine refuses to go with the latest trends and gets in conflict with his sons, the next generation of porno maker. The family empire bursts under the consequences of intrigues and corruption. In this world of love and hate, sex and violence the family is facing a big challenge.
