Who'll love it: Made for sci-fi fans and action fans. If you loved Marvel's Jessica Jones or Gotham, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood: Exciting.
The pace: 3 seasons: a few weeks of evenings, episodes of about 50 minutes, about 23 hours in all.
What might put you off: Rated TV-MA: meant for adults.
Audiences were cooler on it than critics.

David Haller, AKA Legion, is a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.
