Sunday Safe Bet

Why it’s a Sunday Safe Bet

Critics loved it (100% on Rotten Tomatoes), though it had a short run with a modest audience and little lasting buzz. A safe bet when you want something reliable.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who likes to be kept guessing, sci-fi fans and families. If you loved Wizards of Waverly Place or Agatha All Along, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood: Tense, feel-good.
The pace: 4 seasons: a few months of evenings, short, snackable episodes, about 25 hours in all.
What might put you off: Rated TV-Y7: scary moments. Worth a look first if you have very young kids.
Audiences were cooler on it than critics.

Mayhem and mishaps follow young witch Mildred Hubble wherever she goes. She just can't help it! But with her friends' help, Mildred always manages to avoid disaster just in time.
