Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below. Is it for you?
- Who'll love it
- Made for anyone who wants a laugh. If you loved On My Block or Big Mouth, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
- The mood
- Light and funny.
- The pace
- 3 seasons: a few weeks of evenings, short, snackable episodes, about 8 hours in all.
- What might put you off
- Rated TV-14: some language or crude humor. Probably too much for younger kids.
- Audiences were cooler on it than critics.
Suburban teenage friends Will, Simon, Jay and Neil, students at Rudge Park Comprehensive, attempt to navigate the social scene, attract members of the gentler sex, and saunter amongst the cool crowd. However, despite their best efforts, the four hapless lads usually end up on the side of the nerds.
