Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With a short run with a modest audience, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for sci-fi fans. If you loved WandaVision or The Flash, start here.
The mood: Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace: 4 seasons: a few months of evenings, episodes of about 45 minutes, about 54 hours in all.
What might put you off: Rated TV-14: scary moments. Probably too much for younger kids.
It was cancelled, so the story may not get a proper ending.

Set in the fictional college town of Hilltowne, Charmed follows the lives of three sisters, Macy, Mel and Maggie Vera who, after the tragic death of their mother, discover they are three of the most powerful witches of all time.
