Weeknight Watch

Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who wants a laugh. If you loved Skins or Never Have I Ever, start here.
The mood: Funny with heart.
The pace: 4 seasons: a few months of evenings, short, snackable episodes, about 20 hours in all.
What might put you off: Rated TV-14. Probably too much for younger kids.
It's in Spanish, so expect subtitles (or a dub).

The series follows a group of 16-year-olds through their day-to-day life, dealing with the issues of dependence on social media, how they face sex, love and ruptures, religion, the search of their identity and the need to fit in.
