Why it’s a Weeknight Watch

With a short run with a modest audience and little lasting buzz, it's a mixed bag. Fine if it's on; don't plan your night around it.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Is it for you?

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who loves a strong character drama. If you loved Pretty Little Liars or All American, start here.
The mood: Thoughtful and character-driven.
The pace: 2 seasons: a few weeks of evenings, episodes of about 50 minutes, about 10 hours in all.
What might put you off: It's in another language, so expect subtitles (or a dub).

The bullied outcasts at prestigious Al Rawabi School for Girls plot a series of risky takedowns to get back at their tormentors.
