Why it’s a Sunday Safe Bet

It earned strong reviews (72 on Metacritic). A safe bet when you want something reliable.

Based on critics, audiences, awards, box office and buzz. Details below.

Who'll love it: Made for anyone who wants a laugh. If you loved It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia or Family Guy, start here. Critics rate it higher than audiences do, so it rewards patience more than it chases thrills.
The mood: Light and funny.
The pace: 6 seasons, but most episodes stand on their own, so you can dip in anywhere (about 30 minutes each).
What might put you off: Rated TV-14: slapstick violence. Probably too much for younger kids.
Audiences were cooler on it than critics.

Two siblings share their Friday night dinners at their parents home and, somehow, something always goes wrong.
